Today, the Gonzalez family owned distillery leads the way in taking tradition to new heights with their line of ultra premium tequilas. With three varieties, the crisp, light Blanco, the mellow, barrel-aged Reposado and the luxurious, full-bodied, barrel-aged Añejo, there’s a taste for every connoisseur of fine spirits.

After learning about the heritage and family legacy of El Mayor tequila through COSTA SPORTS MKTG + ADVERTISING’s relationship with one of their Brand Managers, we knew Hall of Fame legend Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez would be a great ambassador for the brand. Originally a trial run launched in April of 2018 for the remainder of the calendar year, the Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez an El Mayor Tequila relationship grew quickly and flourished increasing brand awareness through local bottle signings and appearances at venues that serve the El Mayor Tequila target demo. After renewing a second year endorsement for 2019, we were able to travel with Pudge to meet the Gonzalez family, capture new images and creative with amazing views and natural backgrounds in their beautiful agave fields, and visit the family owned distillery in Guadalajara Mexico.
